Lisa can look back on more than 20 years in the insurance industry. She joins HDI from Starr Insurance Companies where she was Head of Accident & Health. Prior to that she held similar positions with QBE Asia and Zurich and spent more than ten years at AIG in different functions. During this time, she gained an extensive expertise in Accident & Health insurance in Singapore and across Asia, which she will now use for HDI to start this new line of business in the Singapore branch.
Welcoming her, HDI’s Managing Director and Principal Officer in Singapore Graham Silton, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lisa to HDI, with her proven track record and capabilities, she will be invaluable to the business as we enter the Asian Accident & Health market. I am very much looking forward to working with Lisa as we expand our product offering to our clients and brokers across the region.”
HDI Global currently offers Property, Casualty, Engineering, Marine Cargo, Power & Energy and Political & Credit Risk in Asia. The Singapore branch functions as a hub for the Southeast Asian market and underpins its status as a global player. The hire of Lisa adds Accident & Health to the portfolio.
Lisa will have a dual reporting line, to both Graham Silton and Chris McDowell, HDI Global SE’s Underwriting Manager, Accident & Health Australasia in Sydney.
