Fenacor’s 50th anniversary celebration

The National Federation of Brokers of Private Insurance, Reinsurance, Capitalization, Private Pension and Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Firms (Fenacor) held on October 25 at the Hotel Belmont Copacabana Palace, in Rio de Janeiro, the celebration of the 50 years of its foundation with the presence of prominent executives and professionals from insurers, reinsurers, the largest insurers in the country, entities of the sector and Susep, as well as directors of the Insurance Brokers Unions (Sincor) in the states of Brazil. With the presence of approximately 350 people, the ceremony was started with the presentation of a video highlighting the main moments in the history of the entity, as well as the launch by the Post Office of commemorative stamp, turned to this event and obliterated in the opportunity.
On the same occasion, the book “50 years – Fenacor 2018” was launched, which brings a retrospective of the Federation’s trajectory, reminiscent of its accomplishments, its leaders, the actions of insurance brokers, insurance companies, and others. The former presidents, Paulo Gynner Barreto Correa, Roberto Silva Barbosa and Octávio José Milliet, were honored for the performance of their activities and contributions to the aggrandizement and strengthening of the entity.
They were also honored with a plaque, insurers and market entities: President Gabriel Portella da SulAmérica Seguros, Roberto Santos of Porto Seguro, Octavio de Lazari of Bradesco Seguros, Robert Bittar of the National School of Insurance and Márcio Coriolano of CNseg.
Federal Deputy Lucas Vergílio, president of Sincor-GO, received the Fenacor Fiftieth Anniversary Commendation on behalf of all Sincors presidents, as well as Patrick Larragoiti Lucas of the SulAmérica Board, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi of the Board of Banco Bradesco , João Elísio Ferraz de Campos, former president of Fenaseg and Joaquim Mendanha de Ataídes superintendent of Susep.
Welcoming those present, Armando Vergílio dos Santos Junior, Fenacor’s president, said: “The entity represents 26 unions and around 100 thousand insurance brokers throughout the country, always available to guide, clarify and present the best alternatives that meet the consumers. ” He called on everyone who compose the market, to make efforts to face the adversities and overcome the challenges inherent to the activities that will be presented in the coming times, seeking the economic development and search for the reduction of social inequalities in the country, transition due to the presidential election we are experiencing.
