Journalist Carlos Alberto Pacheco launched the biography … and for those who don’t know me… my name is Osmar Bertacini. The trajectory of an icon of the insurance market in events at two entities where the subject had a fundamental role. The book was completed in early 2020, but due to the spread of the pandemic, it was not possible to release it in person. The work chronicles the life and career of one of the country’s masterminds in life insurance.
The first launch took place at the Circolo Italiano restaurant, where the Insurance Brokers Club of São Paulo (CCS-SP) held a gathering for members and guests. The second launch with Aconseg-SP associates took place at the Boizão Grill restaurant, in São Paulo. Osmar was one of its founders and the entity’s first president.
‘His biography is the summation of all the work, dedication and effort of a hard working and optimistic person by nature. My father was a sensational guy, someone out of the ordinary!’, reaffirms Rodrigo Bertacini, Humana Seguros’ manager. And he adds: ‘He was admired and respected by everyone, affectionate and caring for his family, and this book manages to add dimension to this entire context. Undoubtedly, it is a work that is pleasant to read and will show everyone what I myself saw and experienced day by day. It is well worth it’.
