On April 30th, economist and former minister Dyogo Henrique de Oliveira will take office as the new CEO of the National Confederation of Insurance Companies (CNseg). He will succeed Marcio Coriolano, who had previously announced his decision not to continue leading the Executive Board. Dyogo\u2019s appointment will have to be confirmed in the elections to take place this March 9th.
\nThe leaders of the insurance sector decided on a single-candidate slate in the election for the Board of Directors of Fenaseg and CNseg, and the majority of the members of the current term are to be reappointed. Roberto de Souza Santos, CEO and Investor Relations Officer at Porto Seguro was appointed as Chairman of the Board. He will be aided by three vice-presidents, by four other vice-presidents who are presidents of associated federations, and by 17 directors of the higher committee.
\nBorn in Aragua\u00edna, Tocantins, economist Dyogo has an extensive curriculum and vast management experience in the public and private sectors, which includes his extensive knowledge of the private insurance system. He was head of the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management under president Michel Temer. He holds a degree and a master\u2019s degree in economics from the University of Bras\u00edlia (UNB) and a specialization degree in Public Policy and Management from the National School of Public Administration (Enap). In the insurance sector, he served as chairman of the Board of Directors at IRB Brasil Resseguros between 2008 and 2011, and of the Board of Directors at the Federal Public Servants Complementary Pension Plan Foundation from 2012 to 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
