What do people think when they talk about the future? This is an enigma that was deciphered at the 9th International Longevity Forum of Bradesco Seguros. Six online meetings were held, always on Thursdays, between November 4th and December 9th. World-renowned experts debated fundamental issues for a society that ages progressively each year. Internet users were able to interact, asking questions and making comments.
\nThe event was mediated by gerontologist Alexandre Kalache, president of ILC and longevity consultant at Bradesco Seguros. Themes such as ageism, an intergenerational society, diversity and inclusion, protection and safety, and the development of a culture of care mobilized the participants\u2019 attention during the meetings organized by the Brazilian International Center for Longevity (ILC do Brasil). The panels were also attended by the CEO of Bradesco Vida e Previd\u00eancia and Bradesco Capitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, Jorge Nasser, and Manoel Peres, Bradesco Sa\u00fade and of Mediservice\u2019s CEO.<\/p>\n
The challenge of aging<\/p>\n
During the event, a special session with the Brazilian and British ILCs brought a lot of information and data about the challenges of aging and important references regarding the challenge of living longer with quality (photo). According to Kalache\u2019s view, it is essential that the society develop a culture of care for those who are most vulnerable.
